Recirculating Farms is currently seeking farm assistants who can work with their Farm Manager in caring for both a community garden and commercial market farm in New Orleans.

Tasks include: planting, mulching and harvesting plants; feeding and monitoring fish; light building and maintenance chores; tending community raised garden beds; assisting with community gardening and farming classes; and other tasks as needed and agreed upon.

Hours are flexible, up to 15 hours per week, 7 days per week, between 9am – 5pm. Schedule can be determined upon hire.

Interns must have their own transportation.

This is a paid position, based on experience, and is likely to become a long-term arrangement and possibly even a salaried position with benefits in the future.
